Paper crafts are unique 3d models that you can make from printed images. This is a good activity to do while resting from lessons or you are bored and don’t know what to do. Papercraft collections are exclusive features and only the best communities get access to them.
Requirements for paper craft collections access
Your community should be at least 6 months old, you should have at least 500 subscribers and 1500 active users every month, you should have at least 100 lessons published and your quality should be rated B+ or higher (ratings are given by Gallium at request).
Collection types
Currently, there are 10 different collections build up from 10 background components (clouds, trees, and rocks), 5 buildings, 3 human modes, and 3 animal models. They are designed in the Gallium theme and are granted depending on the season, or the holiday.
How to get them for my community?
If you are covering our requirements send us a mail and if everything is ok, we will unlock them for your community.
How many collections will I get?
Your community will have access only to one collection at once. Depending on the season and holiday the collections will change. You can get only 4 collection types per year so you will have to decide which season and holiday to celebrate with the papercrafts. How my users will get the papercraft recipes?
They will get a special info banner on every page of your community with links to download the recipes and instructions on how to craft them.
In-Gallium mails
If your community is covering the requirements for papercraft toys you can join the in-Gallium mail system too.
What is this?
This system allows the members of your community to exchange special emails themed with cool images, fonts, stamps, and envelopes. They can send parcels too.
Please note that the in-Gallium mailing system is not limited to your community. If you join you and your users will be able to send and receive emails from all communities participating in this service.
How does it work?
If you are eligible for participating in this service you will get an email with instructions on how to activate it. If you decide to activate this feature your users will get a special button “send mail” on all pages in your community and by clicking it they will need to select a user to send the mail and they will need an envelope, stamp to send the message. They will have chosen from different backgrounds and graphics available for your community. In the beginning, you will be able to choose only 20 backgrounds and 10 graphics for your community, but depending on how many subscribers you have you will be able to choose more in the future.
Subscribers will have 100 free emails per month, while non-subscribers will have only 10 free emails per month. After the free charges, you will be able to buy a charger for 100 gold dust or 1 Gallium coin.
You can create your own stamps, envelopes, and backgrounds if you have at least 650 subscribers. You have unlimited slots for new stamps, envelopes, and backgrounds if you have this amount of subscribers.
Your community users can submit ideas for stamps, envelopes, backgrounds too. If you decide to use an idea from the community you will be free to do it. The community creator will get the item for free, his name on the description of the item and 10 000 gold dust.
While most features in the in-Gallium mailing system are free there are some which are paid. If your users want to send you animated images, videos or other media or just want to support you they will have to pay for this feature with Gallium coins (which is paid currency in Gallium).
For some updates, events and holidays Gallium will give you the option to greet your subscribers and users with a beautiful animated gift card. You can send only one type of card per event for free. If you want to give a reward to your subscribers you can give them 100 gold dust with every card for free and an additional 250 gold dust for everyone for 1 euro. Your users can send gift cards too, but not for free.
Are cards available throughout the whole year?
No. They are only available during events, some big updates, and international holidays. There are some exceptions in which you can receive a card for Gallium’s birthday or for some big holidays in your region.
Can my users send me a card?
If there is an active event they will get the option to send a card to you or to other users. They will need to pay from 250 to 1000 gold dust or 1 Gallium coin.
Can I create cards?
Yes, you can if your community is covering our requirements for paper crafting toys. Contact our support to request this feature.
What are the requirements for creating cards?
You should follow our templates, the images you are using should be your own or with a license for using and they should be with one of the following resolutions depending on the template you are using: 1200x800, 800x450, 750x550. Please prepare your images in a bigger format in case we need bigger versions of them.
Community crafting is a feature that allows you and your users to collect materials, trade with others, and craft and improves items. Items can vary from mail materials to flags, modifiers, and some action items.
Requirements for the crafting system
Your community should be active for 7 months and should have at least 650 subscribers at 2000 active users per month. You should have activated all other features below the crafting system: paper toys, in-Gallium mailing system, Badges, Events, Cards.
Setting up the crafting system
If your community is covering all requirements and has all features activated Gallium will set up the crafting system automatically and you and users will get notifications and starting the bonus with 1000 gold dust and 10 Gallium coins.
Can I add my own items to the crafting system?
If your items have the appropriate quality you will be able to add your own items but they will be available for all communities with the active crafting system.
Is the crafting system limited to my community only?
No, the crafting system is global and all communities which are using it are connected.
Can I trade items with users from different communities?
Yes, there are no limitations like with the in-Gallium mailing system.
If you activate the system all users get inventory which is shared between all communities. Inventory tab is public and you can see the content of other users. If you want to reward your subscribers Gallium gives you the chance to select from 5 to 50 of them every month and give them special items for free.
Are only subscribers getting inventory?
No, the inventory is a free feature.
Is there any way in which I can get items from other inventories?
The only way is to trade with the other user if he is okay with this.
