Our cookie policy explains how we use cookies and how you interact with them while using Gallium Powered and its website and other products. Our cookie policy is part of our privacy policy (the policy) but refers to a different subject. Please read the policy carefully to get familiar with how we collect and use your private information.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that can be used by websites to make a user's experience more efficient. The law states that we can store cookies on your device if they are strictly necessary for the operation of this site. For all other types of cookies, we need your permission. This site uses different types of cookies. Some cookies are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages. You can at any time change or withdraw your consent from the Cookie Declaration on our website.

Cookie types:

Necessary Cookies - Necessary cookies help make a website usable by enabling basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. The website cannot function properly without these cookies.

Preferences - Preference cookies enable a website to remember information that changes the way the website behaves or looks, like your preferred language or the region that you are in.

Statistics - Statistic cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our websites by collecting and reporting information anonymously.

Marketing - Marketing cookies are used to track visitors across websites. The intention is to display ads that are relevant and engaging for the individual user and thereby more valuable for publishers and third-party advertisers.

Unclassified - Unclassified cookies are cookies that we are in the process of classifying, together with the providers of individual cookies.

Social – Social cookies help you interact with Social Media. For example, when you click on the social icons you see at the bottom of every page (by which you can visit Gallium’s social channels) you use social cookies.

Advertising cookies – Some websites use ad cookies to show you ads. Gallium is not showing ads so we do not use such kinds of cookies.

Talkto cookies – We use cookies for our live chat on all store pages. For more information contact the support or read talkto privacy and terms of use.

We and other sites connected to Gallium use other technologies, including the data we store on your browser or device, identifiers connected with your device, and other software for common purposes.

Pixel tag – also known as a web beacon or web bug this is one of the various techniques used by a website to show if the user has accessed specific content.

Local storage – this refers to the place where websites, apps, ads, and other software can store data in your browser or devices like HTML5 local storage and your browser cache.

Software development kids or SDKs have similar functions like the pixels and cookies but operate in mobile devices where cookies cannot work every time.

IPs – or Internet Protocol addresses are assigned to you by your internet provider and every device connected to the web has its own Device identifiers – we may collect your unique device identifier to recognize what kind of device you are using.

Why you use cookies?

Essential cookies: We use this kind of cookies to help our services work as well as possible. By using cookies we can enhance your experience as a user in Gallium. We use cookies to secure both sides too: you and us.

Functional cookies: These cookies are essential for Gallium’s work. They help us identify you on every page, track your cart status while shopping, or for example allow you to use the live chats on many pages instead of losing the conversation on visiting a new page.

Analytical cookies: that kind of cookies helps us to collect information about your interactions with the Gallium services, collect more detailed information about your software and hardware, and some other information for you. For example, we use third-party services like Google Analytics to report on the use of Gallium services. These third-party services may set their own tracking technologies to gather more information about your activity between different sites and services.

Advertising cookies: Gallium is not using that kind of cookies for now. They collect and provide information about your interests and help other websites show you ads containing products and services you may like.

Who places cookies on my device?

Some cookies are placed by Gallium which we call first-party cookies. Some cookies which are placed by other services we use in Gallium are called third-party cookies. When you use pages in Gallium containing content from Google Analytics, Talk to and other services they may set their own cookies on your device to make your experience better.

How can I control cookies?

You can allow or not some cookies we use in Gallium. Or if you want to completely delete all cookies Gallium has set on your device you can use multiple programs available for free on the web like Lavasoft and Spybot. You can delete stored cookies by clearing the cache of your browser too. Please note that if you delete all cookies stored on your device on the next visit Gallium may not work as well as normal, in the process of deleting cookies you may delete your preferences Gallium has stored, your login information, and other data. We do not control cookies placed by third-party sites and we cannot access them due to the way cookies work.

Do-not-track signals: Gallium is currently not responding to DNT signals as there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret them.

Updates: We may update our cookie policy to keep it up-to-date with the latest technologies, legislation, or if we determine it is necessary or appropriate to do so.
